A Little About Me

I live smack-dab in the middle of a relatively small college town which also happens to be the capital of Nebraska. I never thought that I would find myself living in Lincoln but then again, I did hate living in Houston and I swore that at first chance I would leave. And as fate would have it I married a girl from Lincoln and here I am.

I graduated from UH with a product design degree and in Lincoln that means you better find something else to do. I’m also a devoted Christian which for me is much more rewarding and fulfilling. I am married to Meg and we share the same love and passion for God and Christ. Meg is most definitely my better half, just ask anyone. For now, it is just the two of us and we enjoy our life together very much. Meg is a medical writer by day and a blogger by night. Her blog -Women in His Image- is particularly inspiring for me. She’s great and with her and God as my support, I know that I’m in the best of hands.

God created me to be a warrior and it is in my nature to want to defend and fight against Satan through the power of the Holy Spirit. I believe God has called me to uncover and discover His word and to search for the meaning and application of it in our place in time. I am a beacon on a hill and I pray for God’s awesome glory to shine brilliantly through me so that it may help guide all people to Him and to His plan for us and this world. All true Christians make up the body of Christ and because we are all different we each have our own special purpose. Someone once described to me that God’s calling/purpose for them was to be the eyes of the body of Christ. After fully understanding what this meant to him I felt that I could identify and relate to this analogy.

I feel that it is vital for all people to understand God and His will for us as thoroughly and as well as they can. I also believe that living in this world stifles this pursuit. This is precisely why we all need, in part, clear vision. That is why I feel blessed to have the scales continuously removed away from my eyes by God so that I might see clearly. Acts 9:18

    Hi David
Thanks for your insight into Chuck Missler’s teaching. I have wondered about some of the opinions expressed by him in the past although am very grateful that he, and a very dear persistent friend, finally got my husband and I onto the King James bible.
    Kind regards
    Theresa

Praise God for what sounds like His transformation of your families life! Though Missler is an outstanding researcher/writer, like all of us, he is flawed. My only concern for his flaws is his tendency to write about opinions as though they are facts. Many authors do this and I’m not sure why but as you can see in my blog, I am very careful not to do this.

      I greatly appreciate your comment.
